FAQ

BNS can be tagged to your Beldex (BDX) address as well as EVM-based addresses. With interoperable BNS, you can send and receive ETH and other EVM-based tokens using your BNS name.

  • 650 BDX for 1 year subscription
  • 1000 BDX for 2 year subscription
  • 2000 BDX for 5 year subscription
  • 4000 BDX for 10 year subscription
  • BDX fees used to subscribe to, transfer, and renew BNS are burned, creating scarcity and long-term value for BDX.

BNS names can be bought for or resolved to main wallet addresses (that begin with bx..) and sub-addresses of a wallet (that begin with 8…).

However, BNS addresses cannot be bought for or resolved to integrated beldex wallet addresses (that begin with 4…).

It is always advisable to set the main wallet address of your Electron wallet or the Official Mobile wallet as the owner address and/or the resolving address of BNS names.

Do not use sub-addresses from exchanges. This is because funds sent to BNS names that are tagged to sub-addresses maintained by exchanges cannot be correctly parsed by these exchanges.

The exchange can only see the amount being deposited to their main wallet. Since they don’t maintain a registry of BNS names, they will NOT be able to credit the BDX sent to your BNS name connected to a sub-address that is maintained by them.

Currently, users can use the CLI Wallet, the Beldex Electron Desktop Wallet, and the Beldex Mobile Wallets to register and manage a BNS name.

Yes, multiple BNS names can be resolved to a single Beldex wallet address, EVM-address and/or BChat ID. For example, the BNS names admin.bdx and shawn.bdx may be resolved to the same BChat ID.

No, there is no upper limit to the number of BNS names that can be resolved to a single Beldex wallet address, EVM-address and/or BChat ID.
